Terry Neil McArthur (TNM) at age 16 with first double-neck replica made for himself.

Instrument shape was
taken from a tracing of
Larry Collins guitar,
back stage at Town Hall
Party, Compton, CA  in
1957

I still have 2 pieces of
SN 001 - the octave neck and the sleeve guard. Don't know what happened to the rest.

The First TNM

A pretty clean picture of sn 001 sent to me recently by relatives. I'd say it would be about Dec. 1958. (Looks like I'm wearing the same shirt as in the pic above too)

Deke Dickerson resurrects 002
My 2nd TNM was originally built for Ernie Odum in 1959. Ernie returned the guitar to me about 12 years later for refinishing but somehow we lost track of each other. The guitar sat in my attic for 28 years. . .

Deke rescued it and toured world wide, exposing a new generation to an art form not seen for decades. (read the story on Deke's site)
