ADJUST YOUR SEAT POSITION IN 2D COCKPIT

You can raise your point of view in the 2d cockpit view by pressing Shift+F1, we all know that.
But you can adjust the view even higher in the sim.ibx file found in the USAF folder.
Just open it with wordpad or any text editor and find the entries that look like this.

F16=0.04
F15=0.07
F2000=0.07
F4=0.07
KFIR=0.03
LAVI=0.07
MIRAGE=0.08
MIG23=0.10
MIG29=0.03
F15E=0.03
F117=0.03
F22=0.03
F105=0.09
A10=0.05

All you need to do is adjust the value 'UP' to get a higher perspective.
I don't know how high you can go but just start slow. These are my adjusted heights
